Santa Barbara Apothecary Co ™ candles are handcrafted and 100% Soy. Our Driftwood scent is inspired by Santa Barbara’s Rincon Beach. The scent notes will take you back to one of those days where you are walking on the beach and can feel the sand in your toes, hear the salt water washing over rocks and driftwood, all while the Santa Barbara mountains are your backdrop and the Channel islands are ahead. Rincon beach is known to locals for its amazing surf, long coastal walks and where beachcombers will find some of the best driftwood by the sea.
Santa Barbara Apothecary’s Driftwood soy candle offers exotic salty sea air with its notes of dried coconut, eucalyptus, night blooming jasmine, carnation, and followed by sun dried driftwood and the of seaweed. Our Driftwood helps you drift back to that serene walk on a Santa Barbara beach daydreaming without a care in the world.

The first time you light your Santa Barbara Apothecary Co. ™ , make sure you have 2-3 hours to burn your candle all the way to the edges of the jar. The first burn is important so that your candle burns properly all the way down. If you burn your candle more than four hours at a time, it will burn down faster. Trim your wick to a 1/4 inch (if needed) after each burn to insure a smaller flame for safety and longevity. Always stop burning when ¼ inch of wax is left at the bottom of the jar.
