The Ellwood Eucalyptus Candle is our homage to Mr. Ellwood Cooper, who introduced Eucalyptus trees to the Santa Barbara coastline in the 1800's. When Santa Barbara Apothecary Co. Founder Alison Genet visited the region during her honeymoon, one of her fondest memories was the soothing eucalpyptus smell of the trees. Of course Santa Barbara's tree lined estate roads would smell as good as they looked. Surrounded by those beautiful eucalyptus trees, Ali could feel the stress peel away with every breath.
The Ellwood Eucalyptus scent is almost pure eucalyptus with a hint of thyme added for balance and smoothness. This fragrance is as refreshing as it is relaxing. Every scent is personally blended and hand-poured in small batches to ensure quality, long-lasting scent throw for our scented candles. They are made from 100% United States domestic soy wax with no dyes or additives and zinc-free cotton wicks for a clean and beautiful burn. Encased in sustainable vintage-style amber apothecary jars these 8 ounce candles will burn for 50 – 64 hours depending on the length of each burn.

Instructions For Burning Our Eucalyptus Scented Candles
Immerse yourself in the tranquility of our Ellwood Eucalyptus Candle. This scented candle blends the refreshing aroma of eucalyptus with a hint of thyme, creating a soothing atmosphere that enhances any room. Each candle is crafted with the highest quality wax and features a wick that ensures a clean, consistent burn.
The first time you light your candle, make sure you have 1-2 hours to let the wax melt all the way to the edges of the jar. The first burn is important in ensuring your candle burns properly all the way down. If you light your candle more than four hours at a time, it will burn down faster. Trim your wick to 1/4 inch after each burning, as needed.
