In the 1800's a seaman gave a Moreton Bay Fig seed to a local girl who planted it on the corner of State Street and Figueroa. Since transplanted to its current, historic location the tree has grown into the largest of its kind in the US. We pay respect to our history by capturing the essence of that iconic tree and one of our favorite downtown intersections to meet friends and have a beautiful meal, Fig & State.
